Canadian Tourism Spikes With At Par Promotion

Three downtown Las Vegas properties – Circa Resort & Casino, the D Las Vegas and Golden Gate Hotel & Casino – are celebrating the strong results of their “At Par” campaign, which offered Canadian travellers rare dollar‑for‑dollar value during their stay.

The promotion welcomed more than 120,000 Canadian visitors, driving an 80 percent increase in Canadian foot traffic. It also generated more than $20 million in slot coin‑in and filled over 8,000 hotel room nights.

Resort CEO Highlights Strong Canadian Connection

Circa CEO Derek Stevens said the results reaffirmed how important Canadian guests are to the downtown district.

“Canadian travellers have always been an important part of downtown Las Vegas, and At Par reinforced just how strong that connection is,” Stevens said.

He added that the goal was to offer meaningful value while showcasing everything the properties , and the wider Fremont Street area — have to offer. T“The response exceeded our expectations and showed that the right combination of value, flexibility and a uniquely downtown experience can have a tremendous impact.”

A Promotion That Delivered All Year

Running from January through August, the At Par program demonstrated the continued strength of the Canadian market and the demand for value‑focused travel experiences. The results show that incentives like currency‑matched pricing can significantly increase visitation from international guests.

Hotel Benefits

Canadian guests staying at Circa, the D or Golden Gate received At Par room rates at check‑in. The amount shown in U.S. dollars was charged directly in Canadian dollars, with no exchange rate applied.

Beverage Specials

The promotion extended to select bars, including BarCanada at the D Las Vegas, Overhang at Circa and Bar Prohibition! at Golden Gate. Eligible guests could redeem At Par beverage pricing multiple times per visit after verifying Canadian ID.

Gaming Incentives

Visitors could claim up to $500 CAD in slot promotional play, treated at full U.S. dollar value, by visiting Club One at any of the three properties and presenting a valid Canadian passport or government‑issued ID.
